A thick-rimmed black acetate frame for high myopia. Strong minus lenses are thicker at the outer edge, which shows as rings in thin metal frames. This frame's deep, wide rims wrap around the lens edge and hide much of that thickness. Pair it with high index For powers past about minus 4, a high index lens keeps the lens noticeably thinner and lighter. Together with the thick rim, it makes a strong prescription look much less heavy. Lens options Single vision, bifocal or progressive, with anti-reflective, blue cut or photochromic coatings. Our opticians cut and fit every lens in-house. Fit Strong lenses add weight at the front. Acetate can be heat-adjusted by an optician so the frame sits securely and does not slide. Adjustments are free at Pulchowk and Boudha.
