A deep square acetate frame with enough height for a progressive lens and thick rims that help hide strong prescriptions. Brown or black, fitted in-house.

A deep square acetate frame built for people who wear progressive lenses and spend long days at a screen. Room for a progressive lens Progressive lenses need enough frame height to fit the distance, intermediate and reading zones. Shallow fashion frames cut the reading zone short and make you tilt your head. This frame's taller lens shape gives the lens more room, so screen and reading vision feel more natural. Good for stronger powers The thick acetate rims hide much of the edge thickness of a strong minus lens. For powers past about minus 4, we recommend a high index lens, which is thinner again. Lens options Choose single vision, bifocal or progressive at checkout, with anti-reflective, blue cut or photochromic coatings. Our opticians cut and fit every lens in-house. Colours Brown and black.

Frequently asked about the Deep Square Acetate Frame – Progressive & Screen Work

Why does frame height matter for progressive lenses?
A progressive lens needs vertical room for its distance, intermediate and reading zones. A deeper frame like this one keeps the reading zone from being cut short.
Will it hide a strong prescription?
The thick acetate rims hide much of a strong lens's edge. For powers past about minus 4, a high index lens makes it thinner again.
Can I get computer or office lenses in it?
Yes. Choose your lens and coatings at checkout, or ask at either showroom, and our opticians fit them in-house.
