Buying prescription glasses in Nepal used to mean a limited frame wall and a wait of a week or two. Here you choose the frame first, then decide what goes in it. Upload your prescription at checkout, send us a photo of the slip on WhatsApp, or take the free eye test at either showroom and we work from that.
Lens options run from standard single vision at NPR 750 through multi coated at NPR 1,800 and the fully digital blue filter at NPR 2,990. Progressives, which handle distance and reading in one lens, are NPR 1,900 for the small corridor, NPR 3,400 for the wide version and NPR 5,500 for the large. The wider the clear corridor, the more precise the grinding, which is what you are paying for.
One thing worth knowing before you order: a complete prescription needs SPH, CYL, AXIS and your PD. Many hospital and eye camp slips leave the PD out, and some leave out the AXIS when there is a CYL, which has to go back for correction. We measure PD free in about a minute.
"Power chasma banauna kati din lagchha?" One to three working days for most powers. We will tell you at the counter if yours needs a thinner lens that takes longer. Frames can be exchanged right up until the lenses are cut.

If your prescription is older than 2 years or you don't have one, take the free eye test at either showroom, Pulchowk in Lalitpur or Boudha in Kathmandu - walk in Sunday to Friday, 9 am to 7 pm, or book online.
Single vision, bifocal and progressive, with anti-reflective, blue cut, photochromic and high index as options. High index starts to matter once your power passes about minus 4, because it keeps a strong lens from looking thick at the edge. Our opticians fit every lens on site.
One to three working days for most powers. Thinner high index lenses and some progressives can take longer, and we will tell you at the counter if yours does. Once ready, delivery inside the Kathmandu Valley is same day or next day.
A complete pair starts at NPR 1,749, which is a NPR 999 frame plus a NPR 750 single vision lens. Most customers land around NPR 3,300. Progressive lenses are NPR 1,900 for the small corridor, NPR 3,400 for the wide one and NPR 5,500 for the large, on top of the frame.
